No, the concept is quite different. The chalet is not at the foot of the slopes. It is located in the pretty little hamlet of Le Miroir on the south side of Sainte Foy, far from the hustle and bustle of the big ski resorts. Ideally situated in the valley, facing south, not overlooked and easy to access, Chalet Akène allows you to travel easily throughout the Haute Tarentaise, visiting a different ski resort each day.

From the chalet you can see Sainte Foy Station in the forest on your left and Villaroger on the other side of the valley on your right which is linked to Arcs 2000.

Le Miroir is linked several times a day to the resort (8km) by a free shuttle bus which stops 50m from Chalet Akène. By car it will take only 13 minutes. Free parking.

• Tignes les Brevières: 18min, 13km.
• Val d’Isère : 28min, 21km.
• La Rosière : 16min, 11km.

In Bourg Saint Maurice you will find all the necessary services: Super U, Intermarché, Bio shops, Intersport……

Yes. In the resort you will find: bakery, mini-market, bars/restaurants, sports shops/ski rental, mountain bikes….

In the Chef-Lieu there is a small but very well-stocked grocery shop run by Monsieur Gapian. You can find his famous Campaillou bread.
